Since they had been established, the three packs lived in harmony until the forest territory of the Midnight Shade Shadows Pack was destroyed in a monstrous inferno. The entire pack fled, except for one of the Alpha’s female pups. That female lived on the territory alone for three years, waiting for wolves to join her pack of one. Over time, other wolves did come and the pack was restored. Soon, conflicts arose between all three packs, especially between the Midnight Shade Shadows Pack and the Fire Ashen Lands Pack. The Midnight Shade Shadows Pack turned to the Earthen Water Plains Pack for support, but none was given. After a year, the tensions cooled and peace once again returned. Sadly, this was not to last. An infectious disease spread throughout Astheria; its source was unknown to the wolves. Many succumbed to the sickness, leaving the packs with few members.

Harmony seems to have returned to Astheria, but unbeknownst to the wolves, a new threat is on the rise and for the first time in eight years, three packs will have to become one in order to survive.

Wolf:

Stagerthorn is the birth place of every wolf And most wolves will spend their whole life living in Stagerthorn valley. It has everything that a wolf could need. Great feeding grounds. Total protection from any predators and has beautiful lakes and streams. But some wolves are curious and venture out of Stagerthorn to go to the ratchet lands and will disappear for months on end.

Ratchet Lands Is on the other side of the death pass. It contains many swamps, predators and dark forests. Many wolves die here but some manage to get to dangers peek where they are safe from other dangers. The ratchet lands are also home to the Carnirack's which are big with horns and scales and have a fetish for wolf meat.

Bloodlines -- Human vs Vampires:

100 Years ago to date, Humans lived among these precious lands. All was wanted right here, lakes, ponds, forests, food, Everything. Humans lived here since the 1800's, they came in thousands before the population peeked 100,000 in 1892. Ever since that day of August the 3rd. Creatures, mysterious creatures have come to claim their fair share of what was rightfully theirs. They took everything they could find, humans, weapons, tools, building material and started the Vampire Fortress on the other side of the ferocious and dangerous forest (The forest of lost souls) It was said they took 50,000 humans through that forest only 4,200 Humans Survived and only 2,000 vampire were spared.

Fantasy:

20 years ago, the scientific community made a discovery. They had actually created a chemical compound the would reverse global warming in the atmosphere, as well as restore the ozone. This amazing discovery was called the "Restoration project." The world celebrated on the day of its release into the air and all across the earth, a holiday was proclaimed. Everything was going exactly as planned; in the first few years, the temperature had dropped, sea levels dropped, and the polar ice caps began to form again. Everything was perfect...right?

Actually, while the world was celebrating, an epidemic hit cities and towns all over the world. What these scientists who were involved in the "restoration project" didn't know was the fact that the chemical compound had negative affects on people with certain DNA properties. People began to acquire strange symptoms that doctors couldn't explain. These "symptoms" were different abilities that some would find "mythical." Soon, these people with strange symptoms were called "gifted." Most of those of who didn't have these DNA properties became ill and later died. Soon, towns and even Cities were almost wiped clean of normal humans, while a small population of "gifted" survived.

Governments all across the globe thought that these "gifted," were endangering the, now small, population of humans. As a result, large machines called, "mashin" were released into the public to hunt down these "gifted" and exterminate them. These large mecha have massive amounts of weaponry along with and inferred eye that can tell the different heat levels between humans and “gifted” (“Gifted” tend to have a higher temperature). This poses a difficult and dangerous threat to those of the gifted who wish to hide in the fabric or society.
