I Has An Idea « Thread Started on Aug 28, 2009, 10:48am »
Ok guys, I've been thinking about how we can get this board up and running once again and return to our former glory of two/three years ago. This is only an idea, but maybe we should throw out the SARP. I have the feeling that the concept is very confusing to the general populace and that it may have a hand in as to why we have next to no members. I remember that a while back, there was a person that joined, but then left the board, because of the SARP. I think that what most people are looking for in a Wolf RP isn't a SARP system, but just a normal, run-of-the-mill, RP. I know that Shadow has put so much work into making this system work but it seems to be driving off people. Again, this is merely a suggestion. So what do you guys think?

I think our main problem is publicity, not SARP vs. no SARP. Nobody's interested in wolf roleplay anymore, full stop. Fantasy's made a comeback though, since people have gotten tired of fandoms...
But I'm okay with throwing out the SARP, as long as we actually HAVE members before deciding. Like, put it up to vote when we have 10 active members.

Yeah, I have noticed that wolf RP seems to have gone "out of style" lately. *sigh* That doesn't help us in our efforts to advertise at all. Yes, I've also noticed that fantasy has made a bit of a comeback.
Well it's good that you're okay with throwing it out if we ever decided to. I agree with you on the point that we should vote on it once we get more members.
As an additional note, I am currently in my senior year in high school. This means that I'll be super busy with college application and other stuff of that nature. I'll try to get on as much as I can, but again, I'm not sure how often I'll actually be able to get online.
