Since they had been established, the three packs lived in harmony until the forest territory of the Midnight Shade Shadows Pack was destroyed in a monstrous inferno. The entire pack fled, except for one of the Alpha’s female pups. That female lived on the territory alone for three years, waiting for wolves to join her pack of one. Over time, other wolves did come and the pack was restored. Soon, conflicts arose between all three packs, especially between the Midnight Shade Shadows Pack and the Fire Ashen Lands Pack. The Midnight Shade Shadows Pack turned to the Earthen Water Plains Pack for support, but none was given. After a year, the tensions cooled and peace once again returned. Sadly, this was not to last. An infectious disease spread throughout Astheria; its source was unknown to the wolves. Many succumbed to the sickness, leaving the packs with few members.

Harmony seems to have returned to Astheria, but unbeknownst to the wolves, a new threat is on the rise and for the first time in eight years, three packs will have to become one in order to survive.

Plot~ Before and After

Since we're going through such a makeover, we could say this is a new guild- only all relations and memories from the last active period are still intact, so we had to have SOME explanation as to why all the packs are suddenly tiny again, and we also have to have a plot for our actual roleplay. So I thought long and hard, and came up with... virtually nothing. Here's the only idea I could think of:

BEFORE- Explaining why our numbers are so small
A few moons ago, tragedy struck Astheria- wolves from the three packs began to die out in crowds. Otherwise healthy wolves would be struck with a strange disease. The first symptom was vomiting, followed in quick succession by stomach and muscle pains, spasms, and brutal headaches. Finally, the pained wolves' systems seemed to shut down- they would become paralyzed and eventually die when they stopped breathing. The leaders of the pack, even those with skill in medicine, were at a loss to explain what was happenning.

As the pack watched helplessly, the young and old were killed- but the disease spread to the stronger wolves too, and before long the packs had been decimated.

But now the three packs are trying to put together the pieces- those who survived the disease are weak, those who were not afflicted are frightened, and those who fled are still trying to decide whether or not to return.

AFTER: What happens now?
An unprecendented number of newcomers are coming into Astheria. They bring tales of loud monsters that eat trees and belch smoke into the skies, and of two-leggers coming to destroy their territories. For now, Astheria is protected from the two-leggers by the Great Desert and the mountains in the north, the ocean in the south, and the swamp in the west. But how long will it be before the two-leggers try to take over the lush lands of Astheria? And when they do, will there be enough left to fight? And will the three packs be able to set aside their differences and band together?

{Explanation in plain English: A few months ago, toxic runoff from the human's factories seeped into the rivers, which contaminated the drinking water of the wolves and other animals. All sources of nutrition became poisonous, and a lot of wolves died. Now the humans are coming with trucks and plows to spread their cities and build farms, which drives the wolves from their territories into Astheria}

Really? I don't believe you...

Now what? We have absolutely everything imaginable set up, but need Thysia's approval to start. And also most of the newcomers are inactive and I haven't the faintest idea of where to advertise for more.

Can you think of a webpage to advertise on? If we get enough people to STAY active, we could begin roleplaying and edit it if Thysia doesn't like something we did.
